We are sharing the resources below to assist anyone who wants to learn more about the issue, is dealing with the aftermath of a hazing incident or is seeking resources for their family, school or community. For emergency help:
- 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline: 988 is a three-digit dialing code that will connect callers in crisis to trained counselors that will listen, understand how their problems are affecting them, provide support, and connect them to resources if necessary.
- Crisis Textline: Text HOME to 741741 to connect with a volunteer Crisis Counselor. Free 24/7 support at your fingertips.

To Learn More about Hazing and Hazing Prevention:
- Stop Hazing is a research and consultancy organization that works to illuminate the nature and extent of hazing and inform effective hazing prevention through collaboration with organizations and individuals. Their website contains a wealth of resources and information.
- Hazing Prevention Network is a national nonprofit that works to prevent hazing through educating people about the dangers of hazing, advocating for change, and engaging communities in prevention strategies.
- Hank Nuwer Unofficial Hazing Clearinghouse Hazing expert and author Hank Nuwer has written several books and articles on hazing in the U.S. and has spent compiled his own database on known hazing deaths in the U.S. dating back to 1838.
Organizations tackling hazing at the college level:
- Anti-Hazing Coalition is “a collaboration of the National Panhellenic Conference, the North American Interfraternity Conference and parents whose children were tragically killed by acts of hazing that is working to eradicate hazing through aggressive student educational outreach, new state-level efforts to strengthen criminal and civil penalties for hazing and federal advocacy to use transparency to make lasting cultural change in student organizations and on university campuses.”
- Clery Center: Formed to help college and university officials meet the standards of the Jeanne Clery Act, today the Clery Center works to create safer campuses through providing guidance on campus safety regulation, resources to the public, and lobbying on Capitol Hill. Their website offers several hazing prevention resources.
For Parents Who Have Lost Children to Hazing:
- Parents United is an organization that aims to connect and support parents who have lost a child to hazing, as well as to change the culture and put a stop to hazing .
For Coaches who want to learn more about building a positive team culture:
- Proactive Coaching is a company providing training and resources on coaching, team-building and leadership, including several resources on building team cultures that discourage hazing.
